About This Pendant
Debra Navarro’s memorable tourmaline necklace is named for Esther. Seen in these photos with Debra, she is the fearless embodiment of women's entrepreneurship. As the leader of the Precious Women Mine, she and a group of widows run and operate a gem mine. Their goal is to share the wealth of the mine with their southern Kenya community to help those who are in need.
Like many of Debra’s jewelry “ingredients”, this stone was hand-selected by her from artisanal miners in East Africa.
Best of all, 5% of proceeds from the Watu collection benefit Gem Legacy - a 501(c)3 supporting education, vocational training, and local economies in East African mining communities.
